2019 hasn’t been too kind so far, and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. Tonight I received some bad news. I was getting ready to leave work when my dad let me know that my uncle passed away tonight. He said my aunt tried to wake him up and he wouldn’t wake up. We don’t really know the cause yet, but he’s been really sick off and on for the past nine months. The doctors said it was allergies, but I was very skeptical. Allergies do not make someone that sick (that I’m aware of). He would become really pale, run a fever, be unable to keep any food/drinks down, and he lost a lot of weight. Then he would be okay again for a while, and the cycle would repeat.
It’s been three weeks since my last post. Sorry, guys. This is our busy season at work, so I’ve been working longer hours. Plus, I recently discovered that Tubi (a free streaming service) has Unsolved Mysteries, so I’ve been spending most of my free time bingeing it. I grew up watching that show and loved it. The eerie music and Robert Stack’s narration just had a way of drawing you in. Plus, the stories were always interesting. I heard Netflix is rebooting the show, which is kind of exciting. However, no way will it be the same. I hope the stories are interesting though.
If you happened to catch my last post, I mentioned how I haven’t been having much luck since the year changed. Well, 2019 has struck again. Last night I fell down the stairs (again). This time it was the basement steps and I fell from almost the very top. Both sets of stairs in my house are made of wood, so I didn’t have any carpeting or anything to help soften the blow.
I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and New Years. My Christmas went okay, but my New Years Eve didn’t completely go as planned. I’ll get to that in a bit. I’m going to share some photos from around Christmas time to now.
It’s been two weeks! Sorry guys. This post is going to include some rambling of what I’ve been up to (which isn’t much) and how I’ve been feeling, so maybe you will understand why I haven’t been around as much.
I thought I would share some apps/games I’ve been loving recently. When I get in bed at night trying to wind down to go to sleep, one thing I like to do is play games on my phone. It helps me to relax. They’re also great for on your work break, or any other time you might be bored or need something to do.
