I just got back from vacationing in Florida, so I’m exhausted. I’ve been awake since 3:15 am this morning because I had an hour drive to the airport and an early flight back home. I’m going to make a post about my trip in a day or so when I gain some energy back. I just wanted to do a quick post since it’s been a little while since my last one.
I’ve been a subscriber to Ipsy for a little over a year now. It’s fun seeing what products are selected for you each month and getting a chance to try some new things. I got my July bag a couple weeks ago, but I just haven’t gotten around to posting about it yet. I think each month I will share what I got in my bag and my thoughts on it.
Here are my thoughts on this month’s Ipsy bag.
The bag itself: It’s okay. It’s kind of cute, but definitely not my favorite design.
Tony Moly Green Tea & Lotus sheet masks: I love Tony Moly masks and have actually been using them fairly regularly before I received these. I was excited because these were two kinds I have not tried before. I haven’t used the Green Tea one yet, but I used the Lotus one and liked it. Although there were some other TM masks I prefer more. (Like the Orange mask, for example).
Chella eyebrow cream: This product was easy to use and helps fill in your eyebrows without them looking fake or drawn on. The problem is the shade I received is Tantalizing Taupe, which is a darker brown color. Since I’m a blonde, I need a lighter shade. I checked out their website, and they have a shade called Beautiful Blonde, which looks to be a honey brown color. I think I’m going to purchase that sometime in the future, as it looks like it would match my brows a lot better.
Ciaté London Wonderwand Gel-Kohl Hybrid Liner: Definitely one of the best eyeliners I’ve ever used. It goes on very smooth and even. It also has a smokey look to it. This eyeliner also comes with a blending brush at the other end so you can smooth/smudge the liner a bit if you want. I would definitely buy this again.
OFRA Gold Rush Eyeshadow: I really like gold shades, and this is a nice eyeshadow. It’s a pretty color and well pigmented. My only issue with this is the packaging. I don’t have a palette to put it into, and it’s a little annoying trying to get it out when I’m in a hurry.
Hempz Herbal Lip Balm: This lip balm is very silky smooth. It almost feels like a gloss on your lips. The smell/taste is decent, and it moisturizes well so it serves its purpose. Ipsy tends to send me lip balms a lot, which is a little annoying because I have so many. I do like Hempz brand though, and this product is no exception.
Lovely reviews! That bag is too cute- gotta love lazy eggs (:

I always love looking at what people get from their subscription bags because it’s random and there can be hidden gems. I am legit in love with the Gudetama pouch! The character, in general, is adorable. Hope you’ll enjoy your sheet masks and the other goodies you got!
