It has been a while since I’ve done one of these award posts. I do not do one every time I’m nominated. It usually depends on if it fits in my blogging schedule or not. Of course I’m always grateful whenever someone chooses to nominate me.
This time I’ve been nominated for the Sunshine Blogger Award, and I’ve actually been nominated for this one three times. I was first nominated by Laken back in November. Then I was nominated twice this month by Claudia and Sazzy & Joanie. Thank you all for nominating me! This post might get a bit long as I plan to answer all of their questions in this one post.
Guidelines:
● Thank the blogger who nominated you.
● Answer the questions asked.
● Nominate other bloggers and post new questions for them to answer.
● Include the rules and logo somewhere in the post.

Laken’s questions:
● Favorite animal?
Cats! I just love them so much. Also, my favorite wild animal is a Tiger.
● What’s the most exciting memory that you have?
Probably my first trip to Florida in 1996. I was there for two weeks, and we did so many things. I got to go to the beach, the Kennedy Space Center, Disney World, and Silver Springs Park (where I got to go on a glass bottom boat, get up close and personal with alligators, and I held my first huge python snake). That still remains my favorite vacation.
● Are you doing something with your life that you love?
Well, I love blogging. Does that count?
● If money wasn’t an issue, what would you do? Where would you go?
This is actually something I fantasize about all the time. I would love to have a big enough house where I could have my own home cinema since I love to watch movies, and I would love to have my own skating rink because I’ve always enjoyed rollerblading. I would also love to have different themed rooms, like a gothic room, a psychedelic 60’s/70’s style room, a 90’s style room (that would include inflatable furniture), a girly room with lots of pink and faux fur, etc. I would also love to have my own private jet (even though I have a slight fear of flying) so that I could travel to different places all over the world. If I wake up one day and feel like being at the beach, I could just get up and go and be there within a number of hours. I would also love to give money to a bunch of different people to help them out, even if I’ve never met them before, because I know what it’s like trying to get by.
● Favorite time of year?
I like the Fall best because it’s not too cold and not too hot, and the leaves are pretty. Plus, I love Halloween.
● Goals for your blog?
I would love to continue growing my blog, but I’m also happy with how it is at the moment. I try to express myself through my blog, so hopefully that shines on to my readers. I do know I have a small loyal audience, and I’m thankful for them. We spend so much time always wanting more. As soon as we reach one goal, we’re trying to reach another. It’s like it’s never enough. There’s nothing wrong with setting and reaching goals, of course, but sometimes we just have to sit back and see how far we’ve come and appreciate what we’ve managed to accomplish thus far.
● What is one thing you hope to do in 2018?
I want to try out some healthy meals that I actually take the time to prepare myself, instead of always taking the quick and convenient option.

Claudia’s questions (or actually the questions that were given to her because she chose not to post new ones)
● What would be your last meal on earth?
Steamed blue crabs with lots of Old Bay seasoning.
● Do you believe in aliens?
I love space/alien related things, and I want to believe that aliens exist (because that would be so cool). However, until I see proof, I can’t totally believe in them.
● Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I would love to see myself in my own house or apartment or settled down with a family, but I wouldn’t be surprised if 5 years from now I am still single and still living with my mother.
● Where are you from?
Maryland. Born, raised, and still living here.
● What is one thing on your bucket list?
To visit California.
● If you won the lottery, what would you do first?
Buy a house.
● What song reminds you of your childhood?
Macarena.
● How would you describe your fashion style?
Simple and a little edgy. I wear black a lot, and I usually stick with jeans a t-shirt.
● What’s your dream job?
A job where I could work from home and have little interaction with people. I would love to blog for a living.
● What did you want to be when you were a child?
I always wanted to be a teacher.

Sazzy & Joanie’s questions:
● Would you rather travel back or forward in time and why?
This is such a great question! A hard one too! I’m a very nostalgic person, so I’m going to have to go with traveling to the past. I think I would be scared to travel to the future because you might find out things you would rather not know, like when you die or when a loved one dies. Then when you travel back to present time, you would be constantly anxious knowing this information. I would love to travel back and see old memories and also travel back to times before I was alive to really see how differently people lived.
● What’s your favorite smell?
This is really hard because there are so many things that smell amazing. I’m going to go with a natural smell here and pick freshly cut grass. I’ve always loved that smell. I also really love the smell of lavender.
● If you could spend one day with any book, movie, or TV show character, who would it be and what would you do with them?
I would probably choose Buffy Summers from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I would love to hang out with her and get a first hand view of her slaying vampires and demons and attempt to help.
● Will you press the button? If you did, you would discover all that lies within Area 51, but you could never leave the fenced area. Though you would be given all supplies needed and desired.
No, I would not press the button. I don’t like being closed in and want my freedom.
● Heart or mind?
Mind. I prefer to think logically.
● Are you a shopaholic?
It depends. I love the feeling I get from buying new things, but I still try to save money and always make sure my bills are paid first before I treat myself.
● Mountains or seaside?
I absolutely love both, but I think I love the beach just a little bit more.
● Where’s your dream place that you’ve already went to?
I haven’t had the opportunity to visit too many places, but out of them, I really loved Daytona Beach, Florida the best.
● What is your least favorite food and why?
Black licorice. How can people eat that foul tasting crap?
● When did you start your blog?
I started this blog at the end of June 2017.
I now nominate anyone who wants to participate. Feel free to respond to some of the questions here in the comments if you like. I would love to hear your answers. I’m not going to post any new questions, so you can just use a mix of the questions that I answered.
Wow this questions are really good! Loved reading your response, they are really interesting! 😊

Oh hey, you described my dream job. There’s nothing rather than work from home. I am fed up with uncomfortable office chairs, unnecesary bright lights and talking behind the back colleagues!

Yes! I hate the horrible lighting, and it’s also super cold in the room I work in as well.

I agree with working from home, as much as I love working from an office when I do, I do love the freedom I have working from home. Mainly the freedom of wearing pjs 🤦🏼♀️🤣 that will all change when I graduate if I could find a job that I could telecommute I would take it in a heartbeat but personally sometimes for me the human interaction is a good thing lol and you have to visit Cali if you loved Florida you will Cali. Born and raised and I can’t ideally see myself moving!

Your dream house with the different themed rooms would be too awesome!
I agree about traveling to the past instead of the future. Good reasoning!
And who would press the button to Area 51… that sounds horrible lol. I hate black licorice, too. Yuck!!

After I answered that question, I thought about it more and technically you could travel far enough in the future to where you and everyone you know are no longer alive (so you wouldn’t find out anything about your life that you might not want to know), and it would be cool to see how people live different and all the changes in the world and technology. I think I would still pick the past though.

Yeah but also the world could be destroyed and there would be no such things as humans anymore and it would be scary haha I think I would choose the past, too.

LOL I didn’t think about that. I would love to go back and see all the dinosaurs, as long as they couldn’t hurt me.
