I didn’t do one of these posts last week, but like I said I probably won’t do them every week because sometimes I don’t take that many photos. It really just depends. This post will feature some photos I took from last weekend to this weekend, plus some tidbits about what I’ve been up to. If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you might have already seen some of these.
Last Friday, after I got home from work, I decided to have some fun with the Huji Cam app. It’s one of my favorite apps. It’s a camera that you can take photos with, and as soon as you snap a photo it will say “developing”. Then it will go into the “lab” which is a photo album inside of the app. You can view the photos there and decide to save them or delete them. The app automatically and randomly applies different colors, light leaks, grain, etc. to give photos a disposable camera effect. You don’t get to choose the end result of the photo since it randomizes the effects as soon as you snap the photo, but I think that’s part of the fun.
After I took those, I did my usual Friday night bath to relax. I used the Blood bath bomb that I posted about here. Once more, I also used the Huji cam to take this photo.
On Saturday, my mom said she was going to Jersey Mike’s and asked if I wanted a sub. Of course I said yes because I freaking love Jersey Mike’s! I got the Italian, which is one of my favorites from there. It was so good too!
It also started snowing as she was on her way back, so I managed to get some pretty photos. I love snow. I’m still disappointed we haven’t gotten more than an inch or two at one time this Winter. I usually like to have at least one big snow per year.
On Sunday, my mom decided she wanted to go eat at Washington Chicken, which is one of my favorite local places. She doesn’t like to eat out at places very often, so this is a rarity. She wanted to stop by the outlets first to pick up something. I sat in the car and snapped this photo of the food court. That’s not where we ate, but I just always liked the look of the building, and I didn’t have anything better to do while I was sitting in the car.
It was right at sunset when we were headed to get something to eat, so I managed to snap some pretty photos of the sky.
When we arrived at Washington Chicken, I got my favorite sandwich, which is the toasted jalapeno cornbread sandwich with grilled chicken and mango habanero sauce. I also got a buffalo chicken salad to take home and eat later. Both were so delicious, as usual.
Sometime throughout the week, I snapped this quick photo of my outfit when I was sitting in my car on my work break. I’ve always loved striped shirts for some reason, and red and black go so well together.
On Thursday, my new computer chair arrived. I really wanted a pink chair and I searched all over the internet for days, but I just couldn’t find one that looked like it was really good quality, so I just ended up getting this black Serta one. I was hoping it would be as comfortable as it looked. The seat is a little firmer than I would have liked, but the back is really soft and cushioned. I really like it, and it’s definitely better than my old chair which was ten years old.
I also ordered a new blanket, not that I needed another one. I literally have so many, but I just love really soft throw blankets and can’t get enough of them. I’m absolutely in love with my new one, and it’s definitely the softest blanket I own. It’s a gorgeous shade of pink, and I love the subtle tie dye effect on it.
That’s all for this edition of the weekly photo roundup.
I really like these roundups! Your photos are so pretty, especially the sunsets

I’ve always had a weakness for how the sun paints clouds, too. I even read about a group of apes who sat together in the trees every evening watching the sunset.

Ooh I’m gonna download that app! I LOVE how the photos turned out. 😍
I love the building the food court is in, too– it looks old timey! & the sunset photos are beautiful.
Everything about that sandwich you ordered sounds so good…jalapeno cornbread and mango habanero?! Yum! I love your outfit, red and black do go so well together.
I bought a computer chair off Amazon and it’s super cute and pink but it’s def not as comfy and cushiony as your new one looks! And your bed is so cute with the skull pillows, I wanna wrap myself in that beautiful blanket!
Love these photo roundups, Britney! ♡

Awesome. Hopefully I’ll see some of the photos you take with it on your blog. 🙂 Yeah, the pink ones I found just didn’t look that comfortable or high quality, and I spend a lot of time in my computer chair, even sitting in it when I’m watching Netflix, so I want something comfortable. I’m glad I got the one I got.

I don’t think they have the app for Android. I couldn’t find it. 😦

I googled and I think it is on android. Try this link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devloper.huju.camera&hl=en

Ah!! That’s the exact one I downloaded it lol. It has the effects but it lets you choose so it’s not as fun as the one you have.

Aww 😔 I don’t understand why apps aren’t the same for both.

It looks like the android reviews aren’t great though. Maybe the android version isn’t as good as the iPhone version. 😕

I didn’t even read the reviews lol!

Girl, your sunsets take my breath away every time. The colors are literally singing! I love them. I’m also really glad to know I’m not the only one who orders something to eat at the restaurant and something else for later, haha!

I love this idea of a weekly round up with photos. We have had so much snow and it’s getting annoying now. I love the effect you used on the pictures, brings back memories of my disposable camera days.

Same here. I got my first digital camera in 2006, but before that I always used disposable cameras. So many of the photos I took turned out horrible though. 😂

Love the light leaks in your photos. My favorite one has got to be the bloodbath where you show the tattoo on your leg. It’s a really unique photo that shows a lot of your personality whereas sky photos can generally be taken by anyone.
