I haven’t been able to read too many blog posts in the last month or so due to being pretty busy. There are so many great bloggers and posts, it’s hard to keep up with them all. Still, this is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while, so I figured now that a new month is upon us, it would be a good time to start.
I know some other bloggers have done posts like this, and I think it’s a great idea. If you’re a blogger and are creating worthwhile posts, you should be recognized for such. Likewise, it’s good for readers to discover some posts that they might be interested in checking out.
This post will feature some posts from May that I really enjoyed.
This post seemed to find me at the right time. I haven’t been feeling much like a typical blogger lately because I’ve somewhat taken a step back. I don’t really promote my blog on instagram anymore, I’ll go days without posting on social media at all, and I’ve gone from blogging three times a week to maybe once. I don’t really fit the typical blogger mold lately, and that’s what this post is about. Like Shevy, I’ve decided to just blog and be active on social media whenever I feel like it. I’m not going to force it, and I’m no longer obsessed with my follower counts and stats. It’s a hobby and shouldn’t control my life.
If there’s one thing I love, it’s makeup looks. No matter what look she comes up with, I always end up loving it. I swear she can pull off absolutely any look and always looks amazing. It was really hard choosing between this look and her Festival look, but I decided to pick this one as my favorite. I just love colorful makeup, and this look reminds me a bit of the 80’s.
I thought this was such a cute idea! She put different types of makeup on the floor, and whichever ones her dog seemed most interested in is what she used to create a makeup look. I think her dog has good taste! I really like the look that she came up with. I might have to try this in the future with my cat.
Aaahhh, this post brought back lots of memories of some of the reality shows I watched as a teenager. I was beyond ecstatic to see Elimidate make the cut because I rarely see anyone talking about that show, but I used to love it. I also loved A Shot at Love, Room Raiders, My New BFF, ANTM, The Real World, and The Simple Life. I also currently watch and love The Challenge, so it’s great finding other fans of the show too.
I wasn’t sure whether to go ahead and include this in this post or save it for next month’s spotlight, but I just couldn’t wait. I truly loved this and wanted to go ahead and share it. If you have or are thinking about starting a bullet journal, maybe this post will help you feel inspired. I will admit I’ve never used or created a bullet journal, but I love seeing others creativity flowing. I love the red watercolor style of this one.
I just recently moved into my new home as well, so I could relate. Plus, I just absolutely love seeing inside of other people’s houses and seeing what their home looks like and how they choose to decorate. Personally, I think her kitchen looks amazing as is and can’t picture why she would want to change it, but that’s her prerogative. There are some things about my kitchen I would like to change too. (If I ever get the money to do so).
