This is my sixth VoxBox from Influenster, and I think this one might just be my favorite so far. I was so ecstatic when I received this! The packaging is wonderful, and it’s my favorite shade of pink! I know that how well a product works is more important than what it looks like, but having a product that is pretty to look at is a great bonus. I will give you the lowdown on the products I received in my box, how much it retails for, and my thoughts.
Tonique Confort (Comforting Rehydrating Toner)
Retail price: $26
This is my favorite item in the box! I was a little worried when I saw on the bottle that this is for dry skin because my skin has actually been on the oily side lately. Still, this toner is fantastic! Instead of this being totally liquid, it’s actually a milky/creamy texture, which I love. The texture means that less of the product soaks into my cotton ball, so I feel like more of it is going on my face and not being wasted. It’s also a gorgeous pastel pink color, just like you can see in the photos. This toner contains honey and sweet almond extract. My skin always feels smooth and hydrated after using this. It has a nice smell, although it’s so faint that you almost can’t even smell it. My skin hasn’t had any bad reactions to it at all. I definitely plan to continue using this.
Hydra Zen Gel Cream (Anti-Stress Gel Moisturizer)
Retail price: $48
Like the toner, this cream is also a pastel pink color. It looks more white in the below photo, but it does have a pink tint to it. This moisturizer has more of a smell than the toner does. The scent reminds me of soap, but it’s not overbearing. This cream absorbs into my skin fairly quickly, and it doesn’t leave behind any sticky or greasy residues. I wouldn’t say this is my favorite moisturizer ever, but I do quite like it. I probably wouldn’t purchase it in the future just because it’s a bit on the pricey side, and there are less expensive moisturizers that I like better.
L’Absolu Lacquer (Lipgloss in shade 378-Be Unique)
Retail price: $26
This is a buildable lipgloss, meaning you can go from sheer to full coverage with several coats. I like that because I can choose to just give my lips some tint, or I can go full-on color if I want. I put on a few coats, and you can see my results in the photo below. The gloss itself is decent and isn’t too sticky. If you’re looking for a lot of shine though, this isn’t it. It does provide a little bit of shine, but it looks and feels more like a creamy lipstick. I’m really not a big fan of the color I was sent though. I don’t wear a lot of pinks like this. I generally prefer more rosy brown shades. I think this gloss is kind of pricey, so I wouldn’t buy this myself.
