Blood Bath

As mentioned in my previous post, the Sparimo Unboxing, I received a couple bath bombs in my box to try. You all know I love a good bath bomb! I haven’t tried the purple one yet, but I did try this one.

It’s called Blood Bath, which I think is a cool name for it. I’m a horror movie fan, so I got a kick out of that, and the name fits. It actually reminded me of the movie Carrie when she’s in the bath tub trying to rinse all the blood off.

Sparimo Unboxing: Bath and Body Goodies

I received this box of goodies from Sparimo for free to try out. Sparimo is a monthly subscription box offered to U.S. residents that includes different products, such as bath bombs, lotions, scrubs, soaps, bath salts, and bubble bars. I was really excited that I was picked to try out these products. As most of you know, I’m a bit obsessed with bath items.

The box that I received came with five products. However, if you subscribe, you actually get seven products for $37.95. Each box will come with three bath bombs, two bars of soap, and two products of your liking (that are not bath bombs or soaps, such as lotions, bubble bars, etc). One of the great things about Sparimo is that even if you choose not to subscribe, they still offer items in their shop that you can buy outright.

Now let’s have a look at what I received.

Weekly Photo Roundup

I came up with the idea to occasionally do these photo roundups. It likely won’t be an every week thing as sometimes I only take a couple photos, or no photos at all. Other times, I might take a multitude of photos.

This roundup will consist of photos I’ve taken between last weekend and this weekend. If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you might have already seen a few of these. Some of these I am posting online for the first time.

Mermaid Kisses Bath Bomb

I recently tried out the Mermaid Kisses bath bomb from Leebrick Candle Co. I just love supporting small businesses, and this one truly deserves praise. The last bath bomb I tried of theirs was the Mrs. Clause Cookies bomb, and it was amazing. You can see my post about it here. This bomb was just as wonderful. As I mentioned last time, these bath bombs are completely on par with Lush, and they’re slightly cheaper, which is even better. The scent of this one is hard to describe, but it’s heavenly. I guess I would say that it smells a little similar to candy. Like SweetTarts, perhaps. It turned my bath water a beautiful shade of blue, and it made for a really relaxing bath.

Elvive by L’Oréal Paris VoxBox

I received my second VoxBox from Influenster this past week. This time I got the Elvive Revive box from L’Oréal Paris. This box only came with one product unlike the last box I received. It’s a free full sized product though, so I certainly can’t complain. Especially since I love hair products. It still amazes me that I’m able to receive products to try for free in exchange for my opinions on them.

With this Elvive VoxBox, you could actually receive one of three different hair products from L’Oréal’s Elvive line. This line of products is aimed at repairing hair damage. You could either get the Damage-Erasing Balm, Extraordinary Oil Treatment, or the Color Vibrancy Repair and Protect Balm. You didn’t get to pick which one you wanted. Influenster does that themselves based on your responses to their survey that you have to respond to before you can be in the running.

Mrs. Clause Cookies Bath Bomb

As featured in my Festive Bath Bombs for the Holiday Season post and mentioned in my Colorful Bath Haul post, I present to you some pictures and my thoughts on the Mrs. Clause Cookies bath bomb from Leebrick Candle Co.

While I was at work on Friday night, I kept thinking about how nice a hot, relaxing bath sounded. It was perfect timing because my package of bath bombs I had ordered was waiting for me when I got home.  I was so thrilled! With it being close to Christmas, I decided to use the Mrs. Clause Cookies one first. This was only the second bath bomb I’ve tried that was not from Lush. I was a little nervous about it after my last experience that was not very pleasant.

Colorful Bath Haul

I was so excited when I got home from work tonight to find that my package from Leebrick Candle Co. had arrived. I was a little confused by their shop name when I stumbled upon it because they do not sell any candles. (Though they do have wax melts). Hopefully the name doesn’t throw too many people off because they have a nice selection of sugar scrubs and bath bombs. After receiving my package, I am incredibly glad that I gave this small business a shot.

I ended up ordering four of their bath bombs and a sugar scrub. The price of the bath bombs are just slightly cheaper than Lush at about $5.95 per bomb. After trying one already, I would say that the quality is definitely on par with Lush. No complaints whatsoever. The sugar scrub I did find to be a bit pricey at $12.95. For the size, I would expect it to be a little cheaper. However, as you’ll read below, it’s a great product.
