Another bag that was just okay. I haven’t gotten a bag where I really loved all of the products in quite a long time. Looking at the other products offered this month, there are so many I would have loved to have gotten. Ipsy really needs to let us pick which products we want each month. Or at least let us pick some of them. They say that they go by your beauty preferences and reviews in order to pick your products, but I honestly think the whole thing is just randomized. Especially since they send me similar shades and products over and over again, even when I said I don’t like something.

I really shouldn’t have, but I did. BH Cosmetics recently had a good sale that I couldn’t pass up, so I bought myself some new goodies. Time to show you guys what I got! I haven’t tried the products yet except for the lip creams and the foundation, so I can’t really say what I think of most of the products yet. I have several other palettes from BH Cosmetics that I absolutely love though, so hopefully these live up to that. I definitely plan to do some makeup looks soon using some of these products, so keep your eye out for those.

I’m a little late getting this post up. It’s already March! I’ve been quite stressed out at work this week, and as soon as I get home I just feel like crashing. That’s what I almost did tonight too, but I had to muster up the motivation to get this up so that I don’t stray too far off schedule.
The design this month has a classy and elegant feel to it, though it’s not one of my favorites. I don’t dislike it either, I’m just sort of indifferent to it. I don’t really use the bags though. I just kind of hoard them.

As mentioned previously, I purchased two of these Love Your Skin sets from Ulta. I just couldn’t resist since I thought $30 was a good deal to be able to try out nine different brands and products. They might be travel sized, but that still only adds up to just over $3 for each product. Both sets were equally appealing to me, so that’s why I got them both. You may have already seen the first set I posted about. This is the second.

I was doing some shopping at Ulta recently when I saw they had some Love Your Skin sets for $30 each. (The supposed value is between $71-$75). You get 9 products in a set, but they are all sample/travel sizes. Still, that evens out to just over $3 per product, so I thought it was a great deal. You also get a $5 off coupon that you can use if you spend $25 or more on any of the brands featured in the box. I couldn’t decide which set I wanted to get, so I ended up getting them both.
I’m a bit obsessed with skincare and trying new products. Even though I’ve already found some great products that work for me (I know they say if it’s not broke, don’t fix it), but I’m still always on the hunt for new products. I can’t help it. Trying out new brands and products, even when I already have ones I love, has actually allowed me to find some of my most loved products. Plus, I actually get a little bored of using the same things over and over again. Switching things up every once in a while helps keep my skincare routine interesting so that taking care of my skin doesn’t feel like a chore. (Thankfully my skin is mostly okay with this, but I know that using products your skin isn’t used to can cause irritation or breakouts for some people).

I did a little shopping at Ulta again. (It’s my favorite makeup store!) I was almost out of sheet masks and some of my must-haves that I use almost everyday, so I had to buy some more. Of course I couldn’t resist buying a few new products that I’ve never used before either. I just love trying out new products! Speaking of which, there are some goodies that I purchased but won’t be including in this post. I want to do a separate post (or two) on those, so I’ll be posting about those within a week or two.

Ipsy was offering two different bags this month. Both had the same design, but one was a brown and gold color, the other blue. I wanted the brown and gold because it had a sort of vintage look about it that reminded me of the 70’s. Of course they sent me the blue one instead, which I had a feeling they would.
Naked Cosmetics: Loose Powder (in shade Mother Nature #06)
I’m truly in love with the color of this powder. It’s a brown and blue duochrome shade. The brown goes on more translucent and the blue is shimmery. The big problem I have with this is that it’s a loose powder. I probably won’t use this as much as I would like because of how messy it is. When I apply it, I always end up getting it all over my face, even when I’m being careful. I would like this a lot more if it wasn’t for that.
